The Benefits Of Outsourcing To A Virtual Assistant
Business Owners are referring to Virtual Assistant support, as being an incredible investment.

Time

You pay me for the time it takes me to do the task(s), none of the additional benefits a permanent employee receives.

Facilities

I work from home, I drink my own coffee and make lunch with my own facilities.  My down-time is the 20 minutes I give myself after the school run, to re-set my mind.  I don’t need a staff canteen, a gym membership, machine vended coffee or a carshare with somebody with whiffy feet.

Health & Safety

Being responsible for my own working environment, if I fall off my chair or fall down the stairs to take a home delivery, it’s my issue.  I have a bright office, good lighting, all wires tucked away and an office chair that forces me to have great posture and not slouch.  Worry not, I’m sorted.

Insurance

I hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance.  Something else I have covered.

I.T Equipment

I work with my Laptop and 42” monitor, printer, iPhone and a few other mod-cons.  I use Olympus AS-7000 transcription equipment, all paid with my hard-earned cash.  I am always happy to receive funky IT donations!  But this is another expense that won’t leave you out of pocket – because the expense (and equipment), is all mine.

Office Furniture

I have my large white office desk I bought 3 years ago from a well-known on-line store.  If I need more desk space, there’s the dining table or co-working space.

Health Insurance

Private Health Insurance is at the discretion of the Virtual Assistant to provide her own private cover if needed.

Human Resources

If I have an issue, I step back and assess it over a cuppa.  I then seek to resolve it and get on with the job I have committed to doing.  I have no HR Department, so it really is a case of breath, assess, sort, crack on!

Payroll

I send the invoice via Invoicely; you pay the invoice.  Et voilà, all done!

Reviews

Regular planning calls between myself and my client are essential, to keep us aligned and on target.  The best personal reviews for me, are a heartfelt “thank you”, a great recommendation or testimonial telling prospective clients, I helped make a difference to your business.

Sick Leave

I’m rarely sick.  No prizes for guessing how much this will cost you?

Holiday Pay

We all need holidays, but as a Virtual Assistant, you don’t pay me for that privilege, it’s a choice I made being freelance.

Maternity/Paternity Pay

Be rest assured, I am having no more children.  No maternity benefits for me thank you very much.
