What is Digital Transcription?

Digital transcription is the digitally-typed text conversion of an audio file.  This is where my transcription service can help you. With my help you can get any recorded message or audio file transcribed into a well-formatted digital text copy.

It is often being used as an alternative to minute taking and is likely to be more successful for meetings or interviews with a smaller participation of say 1-6 attendees.

  • Clients may be asked to complete a Data Processing Form.
  • All turnaround times are subject to availability.
  • Prices are only relevant where the audio is clear.  I will advise you as soon as possible if an additional charge will be incurred due to poor recordings and difficulty of transcription.
  • Emergency transcription is possible but are subject to availability and extra charge.
  • All work is transcribed in intelligent verbatim (with or without slang) unless otherwise agreed.

Due to a restructuring of staff within my company I needed to outsource to a reliable VA to undertake my audio transcriptions. I was referred to Shirley by one of my clients who used to do what Shirley does now but gave up when she had children.
